The Garden Cottage Event Co is nestled in the picturesque foothills of North Georgia, just south of downtown Dahlonega. Our enchanting 4 acre venue is now under new management and ready to welcome you. This charming property, rich in history and brimming with beauty, offers a serene experience for any event. Originally built in 1934 and thoughtfully expanded in 2006, formally known as Southern Grace Event Center. Our venue has been lovingly refreshed in 2024, blending timeless charm with modern elegance and aptly renamed.
As you step through the garden gate entrance, you're greeted by a stunning garden surrounding our custom built ceremony chapel comfortably seating up to 112 guests in antique wooden church pews.
The picturesque garden setting features a waterfall and tree canopy path which naturally sets the scene for unforgettable and photographable moments.
After ceremony your tranquil walk continues as you are guided to our garden lawn and covered cocktail patio to gather with friends and family. Featuring a convenient bar service window , festive market umbrellas and string lit space provides a perfect spot for a cocktail hour. The expansive garden grounds offer endless possibilities for celebration and enjoyment.
Our cozy getting-ready bungalow features private bridal and groom's suites, each with its own entry, ensuring a relaxed and intimate preparation experience.
Inside, the 1900 square foot gathering room can comfortably seat up to 120 guests. The window lit space boasts vaulted beams, two fireplaces with 160-year-old barn beam mantels, a built in adjacent bar and lounge area, all with direct access to both front and back patios for guests who wish to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The front patio offers additional seating.
